Re: Breakfast Choices
My usual brekkie...vanilla yogurt with lots of sliced almonds mixed in. Calcium in a tub.

Re: Breakfast Choices
Brie on Ryvita - just because it goes great with coffee.
|
Re: Breakfast Choices
We had hot cross buns. I only went to the local bakery for a loaf of sour dough, but they were just taking the buns out of the oven and they smelt so delicious (weak I am, weak!)

Tea after school would regularly be one tin of HP baked beans between 4 growing girls on 2 slices of Wonderloaf each. |
Re: Breakfast Choices
A banana and Doritos.
|
Re: Breakfast Choices
I had sausages and eggs and toast and beans.

Re: Breakfast Choices
Two black coffees, cigarette and blood pressure pill :(

Re: Breakfast Choices
Whats great about this crisis is HID has somewhat stopped monitoring my food. So, I can have things like raspberry ripple ice-cream on hot buttered toast for breakfast without too much scrutiny. Although I probably need scrutiny, as my dinner tonight was Cheetos, string cheese and mini marshmallows. I don't think I've event been taught how to eat properly. :(

Re: Breakfast Choices
I had a BLT, possibly the easiest breakfast to spell.

Re: Breakfast Choices
Half a burger bun , one rasher and a poached egg each. It is Sunday after all.
|
Re: Breakfast Choices
Had some proper British beans the other day- I think they were $2 in Wal-Mart. Much as I despise Heinz I think this is the way forward- so much better than any local brands, even Clark's

Re: Breakfast Choices
All bran and cornflakes.
|
Re: Breakfast Choices
vanilla yogurt with sliced almonds.
|
Re: Breakfast Choices
I usually make myself an omelet, with mushrooms, peppers, black olives, tomato, chopped ham, and sausage bits, then topped with a good squirt of sriracha. Now Mrs P is working from home I only have porridge on weekdays. :(

Re: Breakfast Choices
I have just rediscovered the deliciousness of Shredded Wheat.

The odd tin I open now looks watery but it's just more solid lower down. Mix it and it's fine. The only way I can tell any apart is if it's only tomato sauce. Otherwise they're all the same to me. Maybe it depends how you eat them? On their own or just on toast I might be more likely to tell but they're generally on a plate with sausage, egg, potato, mushroom...all those flavours blending in might disguise any inferiority. |

Ah yes, forgot the tomato. By potato I meant some form of from leftover boiled ones. Chips and beans are a definite no-no.
I had a good healthy balanced breakfast: https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/british...8a7dda6319.jpg |

I like Heinz and Clarke, not No Name or Bush.

Re: Breakfast Choices
Black Forest gateaux and a big shot of vodka. I’m just living in a dream.
|
Re: Breakfast Choices
I had breakfast tacos, (sausage and scrambled eggs with salsa fresca and cheese, flour tortillas). Nutritious, delicious, and fun.

Re: Breakfast Choices
Chocolate
|
Re: Breakfast Choices
Toasted home made bread, big dollop of warmed Salsa (from a jar) and a fried egg on top.
|
Re: Breakfast Choices
Cereal.
Later on though we have half a toasted burger bun each with a small breakfast sausage and scrambled egg. |
Re: Breakfast Choices
A little fried leftover mash, warmed salsa and a fried egg.
