Victoria does not ask for IELTS. I applied for VIC sponsorship on 19th Jan and received on 24th Feb without IELTS. Not sure whether they have changed after that...Even if i had IELTS i didn't send them...because they didn't require.

Nowhere in Victoria portal they've mentioned that Asset statement is mandatory. Its just the Declaration not the proof.

I have got ACS assessment with MODL. please correct me if i am wrong:

For attachment only detailed resume, skill assessment and trade qualification/certificates are needed.

For trade qualification/certificates with all certificates + transcripts and employee reference letters make a .pdf file and attach that one.

No other document is needed for attach.

Please clarify me, i am going to apply for Victoria as early as possible, I am seeking humble help...............so please please

lets cheeers.and i pray to god for all you sparky who wait for that.for all be sparky i share some fact about my vic sponsership is here under.
application date-12 april 09
confirmation-27 april-today.
country-hr
occupation-general electrician
skill assessment-vetassess
without agent.

attach document-all as attach in mainfile+resume+finacial ability+self declaration of sponsership terms and condition+freind's adress which is in melbourne that's it.
i hope this all information is helful to all who is waiting for vic.

Anyone whose been rejected by Victoria (I anticipate I will as I'm not actually on their list) how soon did you get your rejection? My status has been showing as pending since I lodged over a fortnight ago!?

I applied on 30th March for an 'off-list' place - got my refusal on 15th April. But.... if you don't ask you don't get... it was worth a try!

Judging by posts from George Lombard about other States, they are all snowed under with applications, so I think you will need to be patient

I decided to try for SS Victoria, even though skill isnt on their list. Applied Sun 26/04/09 had email today Wed 29/04/09 (2 days), stating fitter not on list so application is invalid, or - wise up mate!!!

Hopefully for you no news could be good news??
