Been stranded in the middle of nowhere as of late with absolutely NOTHING to do in the evenings. All for a proper certification in my field, which would help in finding a much better job when I move though. There were no emails, status page remains same for weeks now, I think I should give them a call.

Where have you had the misfortune to be located for this training course NJ?
I thought you were in Reading, but I could be wrong..... Hotel based training courses are pants esp if there's nobody else for you socialise with in the evenings... I also have to spend a lot of time in hotels for conferences and update training, usually there's a big crowd of us, so it's not bad even if the hotel is in the middle of nowhere... and sometimes it has been!!
Being on your own is something altogether different, it's boring and lonely and if you have to do it for any length of time it can send you a bit ga ga...
guess there's no change there then for you!!!
It's not forever and then you have the certification that you need to get a better job in Aus... which, ultimately, we all know is our entire reason for being at the moment!!!

WOO HOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just checked my status page and our police checks and meds have finally been changed to 'Met'!!!!!!!! 
Somebody looked at our case again............COME ON!!!!!!!!!!
Everything is 'Met' now.............just the visa grant to go
