hello eveyone
Not looked at this for a few days and not posted but we had some excellent news Thursday 18th September, we got the visa grant only just over the 9 months by 3 days!! Just some advice to everyone who hasn't done it, make sure you send full birth certifictes and not the short versions I did. They only cost about £7 from your registrar office in town of birth.
This was the only additional info request we had and they were easy to get hold of.
But anyway, its done now and can't believe we're actually going, just got to book flights, accommo, schools, college, work etcetc
Thanks all for advice and support and keep it up because we all need it and we're al in the same boat.
Thanks again...

At the risk of upsetting folk, have you read the 'Current processing times' thread? Apparently, they are processing May + applicants in priority to pre-May. What the hell is going on?

Yep read that earlier today - whilst waiting for the viewers for the house (additional groan). Put my complaint in last Tues and had auto ack with a "standard" of a 10 day response. Will let you know!

Re: November, December, January & February Applicants still waiting
It seems to be all over the place and I just wondered if the response to online applications last year after launch was unprecedented and somehow all online apps and paperbased apps ended up mixed up for sometime.
Then, at some point the beginning of this year new apps are being processed correctly and ok but 3rd quarter '07 are still being by a 'special' team.
Don't really know of course but just supposing
Good luck everyone Many thanks!!
