there are cons
the big one is that your meds are only valid for 1yr so
you have to validate yr visa sooner rather than later

Yes your supposed to wait for CO to request them, They need to put your file number on them but Im sure it would be safe to book them for November, you should have a file number by then.

We had our 138 visa lodged on 10 August...anyone else on a 138? Spent 5 months travelling in Oz 2 years ago and doing the same for a couple of months whenever we get there before finding a job and place to live! Im a teacher and my wife runs a delicatesessen. Were both 35.
Cant wait to get back there.
Gonna do meds later as we`ve got stuff to sort here first. Love to be over there this time next year!

Ralph and Nic - we are on a 138 - visa lodged about 10 days ago..... Also hoping to be in Aus around end next year. We are thinking of Perth. We have a 4 year old daughter, I am a marketing consultant, and my oh a true entrepreneur.
From what I can gather, 138's are taking about a year, so timing is fine for both of us it seems....

Know how you feel.....!!!! I'm on overload too.have just lost 5 points taking me under the required 120 all because i have to proove i can speak and understand English even though I'm British through and through.How frustrating is this?? AARRGGHHHH!!!!!
