Other way around here - she's the Canuck. I also need to give 3 months notice, so more like October for us.....

Hi Stuart, my wife works in a school and today was her last day, she gave notice a couple of months ago (taking a chance she would accepted this summer). And your spelling of your name is the correct Scottish spelling as far as i'm concerned. Enjoy Canada when you get here, just before the Fall (as the locals say).

Suggest you have a read of the spousal sponsorship wiki where this is mentioned.

It is perfectly normal and every CoPR has it on. All they mean is that you cant use the CoPR alone to fly or cross borders, you still need a passport!

yes thats exactly what it means. It also goes on to talk about an IMM form or electronic counterfoil. Again this is only words and is also explained in the wiki

Hi Hurlabrick, you were pretty accurate with your timeline, approx 8 months, Oct 2017 to Jun 2018. Hope this helps give an idea to others waiting what to expect (London processing time). Thanks again and enjoy the Canada weekend, its gonna be a scorcher :-D

3rd April 2018 - Received by CPC Mississauga.
22nd May 2018 - Eligibility as a sponsor met & medical instructions for myself sent.
7th June 2018 - Medical results received.
26th June 2018 - Confirmed that it is being processed by CPC Mississauga
29th June 2018 - Started processing my application.
30th June 2018 - Letter received for pre-arrival services.

Check MYCIC - mine started processing on the 27th and I received the pre-arrival message on 28th. As soon as I checked MYCIC, it showed (decision made) and 2 hours later, I received the passport request. Interestingly enough, that’s three more Scottish / Canadian couples on here approved around the same time - new quota? 😬

Hi Stuart, thanks for your response. No change for me so far. When you check the application, are you using the ‘online tool’ or have your created an online account?
