Re: PNP Applicants (Within Canada) - Share your timelines
Ok Thanks. I will await their response.
On another note, My wife and I now have a 10 month old daughter who is Canadian and was born after our application was submitted. Is there anything I should do?
Cheers

Quick update. Over 3 weeks ago I had my my status change to 'decision made" but since then there has been nothing. Is this a bad sign?
I know they are short staffed over summer but I would have expected to have my copr or a passport request by now.
I am really starting to get concerned that we have been rejected.

I finally had my passport request on the 27 September, after 2 months of waiting since "Decision made". I was also told to only send the picture page of my passport. Hopefully I will have my COPR within the next week or two.

It's so tedious!! It'd be a little more helpful if the website provided more information but then I guess I'd rather they got on with processing applications rather than updating a website... I'd love to know why it takes as long as it does.

me too...lets not think about how much this has all cost!! for that amount i would expect, at the very least, an updated website!
If i think about it too long I get so angry...trying to get into positive mindset!

Things start moving when they update it to "We started processing your application on...". FWIW, mine took nearly a year (July 29, 2013 to July 8, 2014) but once it got to that, it all went (relatively) quickly and I got my COPR at the end of August this year.
Edit: I got my med request a month earlier.

It's dependent on your application, obviously, but the status update means that it has been picked up off the huge pile and is being worked on. That will include background checks, etc., which will vary from application to application.

Re: PNP Applicants (Within Canada) - Share your timelines
Hey I'm new to these forums. Looking to share my very long frustrating experience trying to get PR and hoping to find out there is an end to all this.
Here's a brief timeline for me.
Applied and received PNP in Alberta end of 2012.
Applied to nova Scotia Sydney for PR.
Application received Feb 2013
Medicals done April 2013
police certificates requested and Sent in Dec 2013
RPRF requested and paid feb 2014
Ecas changed to 'in process' March 2014
Medicals expired and done again April 2014 ......
Nothing since. .....processing times says 33 months! ! Is it really gonna take another 2 yrs for this to be done.
Anyone been through this process recently?
How long did it take?
