Where we live in Spain we are accosted by these pests every time we leave home and are told we can swop 2 weeks anywhere for 2 weeks at Royal Goan Beach Club (as said by J5).

Found a very effective way of dealing with these idiot touts, I dd the scratch card, "won" a bottle of wine and was told I had to go to the Royal Goan Beach club to collect. Promptly stopped the scruffiest looking Indian fella I could see and handed the scratch card to him for the wine !
Strangely enough they have never offered me a scratch card since !!

Dread - toutless and happy!

Another unmissable opportunity to have a go at the British, and guess who? Miccky Moron's faithful sidekick now rewarded with power of sorts, having stood by his "master" through thick and thick.

And if any of you Ladies click on the "Weird weight-loss advert", shame on you!

If VAz is involving himself with the Australians on behalf of Uk Indians why can we not communicate about the racism we all face at the moment in India to the Australian media, so that they get another perspective on Indians?

When Myself and many on here wrote to VAZ informing him of what was going on with the property situation in Goa and asked him for help. I had a letter back telling me to write to my own MP or employ a local Lawyer, he couldn't get involved...............(didn't want to get involved) more like.

Isn't this man a British subject?,yet he can get involved with a situation that doesn't involve him, his constituent directly, or Britain.??

GC :blink:disappointed in lack of support from VAZ.

Re: In To-day's Newspapers

You are so right Goancrazy we also wrote to Kieth Vaz 2 years ago and his response was the same. We were not from his constituency, Leicester, so he could not get involved.
We did however email Sally Keeble and she could not even be bothered to reply.
The BHC know of our situation here now let our MP's know in the UK
Do not give up keep mailing these guys elections soon!!

The news report says "Keith Vaz... told Australian High Commissioner John Dauth his constituents with family-members living in Australia are scared and upset after mounting violent attacks on Indian students"

That gives him an 'in' to intervene. His reply to your letter was absolutely correct, it is against protocol for an MP to act for another MP's constituent.
As I have said several times here and elsewhere, you must contact your own MP - even if you want to get action from a Minister or someone else.

I did not have a reply from Vaz when I lived in Leicestershire - he does not want to know unless he is getting a kick back from someone.

He has family members living in Australia - where?

Andy that is rubbish, how come I got numerous replies from other MPs out of my area and a personal letter from Lord Malloch Brown.
It was another MP who suggested we write to VAZ as he is a Goan

GC you might be right on all fronts regarding FEMA but your not often right on others issues and your wrong again:rolleyes:

Seems Mr Vaz is far too busy to reply to you as I found out he is spending far too much time attending freebie dinners and parties.
