Re: In To-day's Newspapers

Until a few seconds ago there was a thread on H Truths reporting this incident, with about 10 comments. The title was 'Brit found dead in Goa'.

The entire thread has been removed, not even only locked, perhaps following a post which went something like:

I have complete confidence and reassurance based on past investigations that Goa's finest super sleuths are this very minute on the case.

While trampling over evidence and making light of the deceased foreigners valuables, cash and travellers cheques, they will be busy contemplating implausable causes of death.

Chief pathologist (the one who was suspended - then re employed - following the Scarlette Keeling murder) following the autopsy announced to the press, 'Yes, we have a corpse and we can confirm that it is dead.'

The deceased had booked into his guest house room at 9.30 pm the previous night. A tuk tuk driver while driving by the night before was able to diagnose that the foreigner had been clinically depressed.

Chief Police Superintendant investigating the case has stated, 'Citizens of Goa should not be in fear at this outrage against their people, no Goan sons of the soil were involved in the incident , the foreigner should not have travelled here to tarnish the impeccable safety reputation of Goa. Suicide has not been discounted as cause of death. Meanwhile, all avenues of investigation are being pursued, particularly dead ends. We are not suspicious. Honest!'.

H Truths certainly don't like the TRUTH. Does anyone think they're just there to help fill charters, promote Goa as a flawless paradise by puting a shine on a sh*te?

How amazing that these 'exceptionally skilled' police officers in Goa can diagnose a cause of death based upon some comment concerning 'foaming at the mouth' - incidentally not a particularly consistent symptom associated with cardiac arrest !
From a personal point of view, I find it somewhat disrespectful to the deceased guy that the police officers make such comments to be printed in the media.I hope his family are spared reading a Goan newspaper and having to see such indignity.

Has any one read Goan Voice, the online news letter today ? There is an article on a british man who was found dead in Colva ? It mentioned his friend Ajay Kaushel, who called the police. The next article concerns an Ajay Kaushel, wanted by the Lancashire police for Kidnapping and Robbery who was sentenced to 15 years in his absence in 2003 ....I know coincidences occur but did the people or pesons who compile and edit the on-line news letter not notice that it could be the same person and the article states that he is on the run in South East Asia too!

Not me with the article above, I assumed that Babu had put it on there. My comment on that thread was short and sweet, suggesting that he had drowned in his hotel room!

As far as the Ajay Kaushel articles are concerned..........it was bloody obvious that Eddie at GV thinks that they are the same person! The second article dated back to 17th August.

In fact now Eddie has amalgamated the two stories along with the update that Lancashire police have asked the Goon Force to hold Mr Ajay, which they have duly done. I dont rate their chances of holding on to him though, as he had already escaped when in the UK.

Just been on World Service, he was arrested and will be returned to the UK to serve his sentence. Any bets he will still be in Goa in two years time and probably on bail too!

Bet Mr Ajay does not serve anything like the 15 year sentence that he was given in 2003 either. His sentence should be increased as he has cost the British Tax Payer money in returning back the the UK and cost of the police's time and wages.

Well done to the Goan Police for nabbing him.

Hope they do not let him give them the slip.

Sunglow.
