Living in Goa i have seen all the local newspapers in the past 4 weeks and there have been alot of sites that developers have started and now the local people are objecting to in a big way, many of them have had building stopped through non planning permission, and i feel that there will be many more to follow unfortunately for the people that have paid their money, even if you are of the right visa status your fate lies in the hands of the developers and at present the situation is only getting worse by the day.
the goan people are revolting and do not want their villages turned into housing estates and who can really blame them!!!!
quick note where abouts is Braganza world situated as the land may have been mentioned in the paper?pm me if you do not want to divulge on post.

BW is located in Siolim so it says, I have checked on google earth and it shows the location just off the river before the bridge, there is small offshoot from this river heading south and what looks like a reservoir, BW is directly opposite this, I have never been to Goa so all this I learnt from google and various maps.

Let us know if you find any info on the land.

HAS ANY BODY GOT ANY MORE INFO ON THIS DEVELOPMENT , AS I HEARD RUMORS THAT BRAGANZA CONSTRUCTION HAS BEEN DECLINED THE BUILDING OF THIS DEVELOPMENT, OR IS IT JUST RUMORS. THANKS

BW is not where it is shown on Google.
I had a site visit at Xmas, and the location is just before you get to Siolim, take a right after you pass St Antonys church, then right at the next tee.
Its then in the hill about 1/2 mile down the road on the left behind the paddy field. (Still forest at Xmas).

BW is not easy to find if you have never been there as its off the road so not easy to find. St Antonys church is the big church just on the edge of Soilim on the Mapusa/Soilim/Anjuna Y junction.
The best option is too show an interest in a purchase and arrange a site visit (which is quite easy). If your interested contact Jith on 9822159941 (We had a site visit with him)

GOOD NEWS Braganza complex is almost finished, on saturday i was sent to a site which was just forest land, and could feel people's horror if i told them that news (i did tell some people) then i managed to get hold of some locals from siolim yesterday who showed me the site, i am pleased to inform you that it around 3/4 finished and looking quite good and massive.
I got the cold shoulder from people on site so i just came away.

You must have been on the wrong site because i was there 3 weeks ago and it was not even started

Even The Seller In The Uk ( churchill innovations ) says They Have not Even Started building , so I Am Wondering Which Site You Visited, Or Did Some Body Take You To a Different Site, ( to mis guide you ) May Be They Are Selling The Same Development.

Oh well folks i was told by the locals that the site i saw was Braganza, i did try, and put myself to go and see if the information you folks at home in the UK have been given was correct, unlike some people on this site that have the information(saw the site 3 weeks ago) and dont care to share to with the members who are really concerned about their investments. some people on this site are so selfish.

Thanks Poppetjay for making the effort to go and have a look. I seem to recall that Braganza had another development under construction near Siolim,and it must be the one that you saw.

There is a small development in the Siolim area built by a chap called Jose Braganza - this is nearly complete - perhaps that was the reason for confusion?
