Still doesn't make sense to me... if they do want to hit their 60 days quota then give the decision for applicants like you who has been waiting for ages and not for application that are still within the time limit.

I have a feeling this latest date 31 October is inspired by the veiled threat of an appearance by a group of us at Conference next week combined with more robust facilitation by individual MPs. For me I am just hopeful, and relieved a date set, and now have reassuring knowledge my wife's email is in the mix for resolution, whereas without the email, I had visions of her file gathering dust in the basement.

Is anybody attending the Conservative conference?

Is anybody who received the '31st of October' email local MP a Conservative who can raise the issue at the conference?

My local MP is Labour but I can get in touch with my nearest Conservative MP to try and make this request.
