So who did you get the decision from. Was it VFS, where are they based? UKVI is obviously Sheffield! Are you optimistic as you been asked to pay the IHS fee. As far as I know thats normally a good sign!Happy Birthday by the way.

Yes, VFS Hanoi.
True, I did expect to receive the decision only a few days after that IHS payment request email but it turned out to be 4 weeks after.

Ok i am just trying to get the delivery process straight in my mind. So i guess when the decision is made UKVI let VFS, the country of the applicant know. Then the passport is issued which they previously kept for safekeeping. It is then couriered to the applicants address. Or you can walk in and pick it up! I bet your nervous and excited.

with the decision by courier or you can walk in to the centre and pick it up. I bet your nervous and excited.
When we did the biometrics and had our documents scanned at VFS, we were asked to choose to come and collect the passports or get them sent by courier. I chose the first one. I never trust courier and I don't want to take any risk of my passports to get lost somewhere. Moreover, as you said before, those passports are priority to us, not to them, so who knows how long it will take them to just put our passports into the envelop and send them.

I think i am as excited as you are. Will you open the package in the office or at home. I think your brave to post on here before you get the actual result although I am 95% certain you have it.

I didn't. I simply deleted a post that broke Site Rules 1 & 2. Maybe have another read of the Site Rules & remind yourself that this is a family friendly forum, and whilst we realise you're frustrated, posts like that aren't ok.

Whilst you're at it, you might want to re-read Site Rule 15 as well. Any further queries about mod actions, please just PM us, thanks.

It happen very quick. Once decision made, 2 days after vfs contact for passport collection. Apparently the passport never left your application country.
