hi, i went along to my doctor yesterday to get my contraceptive pill ...got the prescription..went along to walmart to get my pill at the chemist there as ive been told they are the cheapest for charges..i nearly past out when she said that will be $22 for just 1 packet
it would work out cheaper to have a another baby in the long run...anyone have any suggestions

Lmao Saskia - I was thinking that too - been infertile since I was 22 always thought it was a Burden - lol now I'm older its bloody wonderful!!!!

I managed to get my UK GP to prescribe me 12 months of the pill, and between 6-9 months my other 3 prescriptions.
I can't imagine how much my 3 others will cost as they are quite specialist for various ailments...
I talked to my housemate and she said she got 6 months (I think) of the pill. Her work however fund 50% of the cost so it seems.
Either way, the Canadians know how to screw you for charges... Excuse the pun!!!!

when you get more than 1 packet then the fee goes down a little..in the end instead of paying for one $22 i got two for $36..but its not like the uk buy one get one free..just pay less for dispensing..and my walmart wouldnt let me have anymore then two packs at a time...just called costco and they work out about $5 cheaper but it is an hour and half drive from me..we are going to regina this weekend so it works out ok this time..but im not sure after paying gas it would work out cheaper...as for the vasectomy thing my partner wouldnt even think of it right now as i think after we got our PR we will have another baby..his 2nd and my 5th (oh my poor abused body) lol. good to read about every guys nuts on here thought lol
