Mind you the sellers didn't look to hot. Or in fact the looked bloody hot, it being 40+ and they stood at the side of the road for 12 hours until they couldn't hack it any more. They weren't in the standard supermarket clobber either, for some reason they wore rags and bare feet. Must be a fashion thing. They looked like they loved bananas so much that they ate them exclusively. A local nurse told me it didn't do much for the kids, but hey - they were bananas so they can't complain.
The banana to imported Australia meat exchange was pretty prohibitive though.

Seems "spugsy" who lives in Dubai likes Sydney....
"I've had it with the ME to be honest, just come back from 9 days in Sydney and the lifestyle, people, everything is just so chilled and more civilised than here."
(from the Sandpit)
Just goes to show you....

[QUOTE=chris955;9830025]I fully anticipated it would be a reality tourist information show and seeing as I live here I couldn't see any value in watching it. I do watch Location Location but that is mostly for Kirstie

Go halves on his ticket?
It was a nice day here in Sydney.
At the end of the month I am off to Tuvalu, formerly the Ellice Islands. They used to eat people but it is discouraged these days. Hot as hell, no aircon, one supply ship a month. No hot water, in fact not a lot of water at all. They were limited to 2L a day last month. The UN has it on its "least developed nation status"
Bet those buggers are glad they aren't in Brisvagas today.....

Poor buggers will probably end up as Brisvegas refugees.

I would like to whinge about the fact that I'm working at the office instead of lazily watching the hot surfers under the warm sunny day. And the fact that I was able to take a seat on the train during rush hours and those unlucky standing have some elbow room and bit of personal space. And I also want to complain that I'm not afraid of being mugged walking the streets at night.
I also would like to whinge about the fact I see more pregnant women than hear police sirens.
I whinge cos I want a perfect world.

Had a bit of rain the other day. Moved the car into our back yard for a free wash:

I actually photographed local banana sellers on Tarawa. They were small ( the bananas, not the sellers) and very cheap - mainly because you could walk 100m and pull your own off the trees.

Agreed. Thankfully here 20 and under temps are generally nights in winter so bearable. Yesterday was hot, about 43 in the sun, 36 in the shade, don't get many days that hot, and humidity was only in the 50s so not bad at all.

I reckon Kirstie is a dirty minx.
