Hi all hope it is going well for everyone...
I have a question about my medical forms - had the meds done yesterday but have not posted visa application yet. Should be posting it this week
Not sure whether to have the meds sent straight there or wait for them to come back and send it all off together.
Anyone got any advice please, I'd be very grateful as ever!

Hi Everyone,

I went awol so thought I'd pop in and say hello and catch up on how everyone is going!

Congrats to those who got their visas recently and good luck to those who are yet to apply!

We are planning on returning to Aus in Feb 2008. I'm still a tad nervous about the money situation as we will need to continue to pay our UK loans when we're in Aus, so we pretty much need to get a job straight away. I'm sure it'll all work out in the end tho - just can't help but worry a little.

Sorry I disappeared for a bit, I just felt that I wantd to go back to Aus NOW and being on this forum seeing people leave for Aus etc ws making me home sick so I thought I'd have a break away!

Going to read back thru some of the posts now to see if I can catch up!!

I think "the norm" is for them to be sent directly to London (if that is where you are applying) by the doctor.

Thanks guys I really appreciate your opinions!
Was just a little nervous they'd get there before the application and get mislaid.
It will certainly galvanise me to get the forms in the post this week, that is for sure!
Sooooo, getting pretty nervous now, just got the personal statements to write and that is IT (she says hopefully!). Then a final check and off the the Post Office. AAAAARRRRGGGGGHHHHHH!
Yep, I can usually handle whatever is thrown at me - operations manager, no problem; childbirth - no sweat. But THIS! This is something new entirely. Not used to feeling this way about things. Just got to keep the end goal in mind - my hubby will be sooooo happy to get home, and I'll be cool once we get there. god I hope I get the visa OK!
I think I will get a glass of wine....or three. Have a nice evening in the sun all!

My agent gave me a template for the personal statements if you want me to post it on here?? think i posted it somewhere else but cant remember where!
We put off doing our personal statements till last coz in my head it was this complicated huge thing, but in the end it was quite easy, so chin up you can do it!!

Cheers Penky, it would be great if you could post the template...it does seem on the face of it like a long and laborious part of the process, I think that is why we've left it till last as well!
Thanks for the gee up and help
