Just found this thread - YAY! I'm not the only crazy person moving all on my own!
Heading to Perth - well, once/if I get the visa ;)

LOL Steve, I fully understand your secrecy! Only a few of my friends know, and my boss ('cuz he had to sign my reference for me) :)

Hey Nikki and Steve and everyone else (this thread is far too big to read it all!),
I'm moving on my own, to WA in January.
Not sure how far I'll be from Perth yet, but glad to see I am not the only lunatic going solo!

Hello, just tripped upon your thread...
I am going to depection bay , Brisbane, alone on the 26th august...Working in brendale, coach building...457 business visa 4 year contract...with the hope of residency...
looking forward to it but very apprehensive at the same time...
One good thing though is i have a bessy mate to stay with till get my own rental sorted!!

Places and dates when people are going? anyone in brissy area???
