I'm gonna go for the tea chests option I think. Then fly singapore airlines and get my double luggage allowance. Even thinking of going first class.:thumbup:

Nothing stopping you. Do it! Just check that getting a WHV wont invalidate your 175 application and remember you have to go offshore to get your 175 grant. A week in Bali sounds nice! :p:rofl::thumbsup:

I thought you had to be offshore at the time of the visa being granted? Well, best of luck with it. Considering the speed at which they seem to be going, I think I'll be there soon after you lol.

hi guys...hope you all well...just a quick one in regards to airfreight...I am still waiting for mine and it was sent beggining of June!!! Customs and quarantine hold it up so please take what you need with you, as I have spent alot of money buying essentials (clothes!!) as I am working and cant go to meetings in flip flops! In my mind it was a total waste of money (half the amount for double the seafreight price)

Hi Steve. Thanks for the invite to join the loners. Am discovering that there are lots of other SCARED SINGLE MUMS out there. My first dip into this thread was discussing sand in trunks! Sounds interesting!!
Am a nurse. Have just started collecting paperwork to apply to oz nursing board. Heading to Sydney, but I guess it will take a while.

There are a lot of scared single men (well me anyway) in here so you're in good company. Sandy trunks, sounds like Pacey. Watch out for him, I think he's one of those "metrosexuals".

Some news, just got off the blower to my new firm, contract comng over tomorrow and I asked about PR abd is something they'll consider once I've done the busoiness for a couple of years. Feeling better about the move now than I have done for weeks!!! Even talk of a mid septamber start date.

Where are Aqua and Fizz!?!?

Edited to say I also got a marriage proposal off Pony last night

I may be somewhat metrosexual, but at least I'm not scared, ya big jessy! Besides, sand in trunks is an important consideration and everyday issue - can't help that I get my bones jumped every time i strip off on the beach  Just wish it wasn't by you every time, Scuba boy! Seriously though girls, watch out for his snorkel, it comes out of nowhere!

Anyhoo..

sounding ace on the job front there mate, hope that all works out this time, bet you wish you'd looked elsewhere ages ago? Still going for recruitment?

Sharon thanks for tips re: airfreight.. think i will just take one extra case (filled with books mostly i reckon!). Anything else I'm not too worried about as my folks are shipping all their stuff in a container to NZ in the next 6 months or so, anything else of mine will go in that and I'll bring it over gradually. Handy eh?

Aqua and Fizz are seriously MIA.. in fact we've lost quite a few since the start..

DOC! Go for it mate, you could travel a bit while you're there, visa will take a while yet i imagine.. take a trip to the east coast and see what you'll be missing..

TY for the advice on containers, not sure how to go about it now, that was always miles away for me?
