yeh I'll put a selection of snaps in with my app! hehe. I got final job offer today too - just waiting for them to say the word and application is going in. Fingers crossed they do it in 8 weeks. :thumbsup::thumbup: |

al reet loners?
right, thought i would quickly drop in a say "im off!" im leaving on a jet plane tomorrow at 2 pm heading for glorious perth!!! so will be off line for a few days until i get sorted. hope everyones visa's come through soon and those of ya selling homes do so quickley too. the eski will have plenty of cold ones ready for you when you get out here! will keep you all posted of how i get on doc |

Hi all loners.
Haven't had much net access lately, but wanna say good luck to doc and pony, and pacey and anyone else who's had good news recently!!! I can't say I'm not jealous, cos I am - VERY!!! :D I am now living on my own!! I moved out of my parents house, and into a little 2 bed house. You might think it strange that I moved out when I could have a visa anytime in the next few months, but... I decided, I wanted to experience living on my own before I went and did it in a foreign country. I have already learnt how to use a washing machine! :o It's a friends house I am looking after for 6 months, although I can stay there up to a year if I like. And it's only costing me £100 a month more than living back with parents, and I think it's worth it. And I'm already glad I have done it, as it's completely different being on your own, and I would have had a major shock doing it in Oz, and I need as little stress as I can get when I get over there. So 6 months, makes it March. I'm hoping to get my visa around December anyway, and I have to give 1 months notice at work, so it's not that much longer to wait. I think waiting an extra 2/3 months will definately help me, and in the scheme of a new life, is no time at all. Sorry to bore you all.... |

well what can i say? Long flight then shower then hit the town! ok, so i had a few beers before i was knackerd :o its a small place Perth but liking it already. been in to the city as its only a two minute walk for me (everything looks so much bigger on maps, thought i would be miles away!) im going to be busy over the next few days trying to sort a job out and somewhere to stay thats a bit more long term, but theres plenty of work here from what people were saying last night so i shouldnt have to many problems. the weather is mixed at the moment, had a massive down pore for about 22 seconds then it stopped then sun!? today its nice, but still need a top to go out with. tight im boring you all will my tales so will go, but i will return! good luck with the living alone xzibit, im sure you'll love it, as for the rest of hope your all well and if any of you get here, come join me for a stubbie! doc x |
