Hi Guys & Gals

Hope your all well.

Just stumbled across Google street view courtesy of some other posts. Cool that when we get there we can show people where were living.

Dear all

Sorry about being AWOLfor so long!! Some mad times were had!! Read all back through thread though so know where you are all at - took me ages!!

Welcome all newcomers (perhaps I'm one again now??!!??) Flights are booked for this coming Thursday 21st and have flat to go to a week after - across the landing from my sister!! No job or school for my son but not bothered - YET!!

It's all coming together now for lots of us - and we have some Loners out there who beat us to it:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:(Sharon, MT Pockets, Essex Neil - Woollies packed, maties:ohmy:)

I'll be just down the road from Manly in Freshwater/Harbord. Just need to get on the flight now - the elongated good-byes are killing me:(

Keep up the good work the rest of you and speak soon:wub:

Hi Aqua,

I know what you're going through, just done it. It's well worth it.

Good luck with your packing and flight etc.

If you have enough energy try and pop down to the CBD drinks that Swervo organises every Thus evening . It attracts a very large British expat crowd including a few members from this forum .

Got to dash, supposed to be working.

Good Luck

Neil

Hi And welcome aboard.

I don't think you will be dissapointed. I've been in Sydney just over 2 weeks and have met more people and done more things than I have done in the UK in a long time.

As a loner too I can highly recommend Servo's Thursday CBD meetups, these can be found in the meetups section of British Expats. I have been every week so far it's a great way of meeting new people in including fellow loners!.

If your stuck or need help drop me an email.

Good luck and enjoy Sydney.

Cheers

Neil

Thank you. I'm not worried..................honest!

I've had all my bloods done already so I know I'm not diseased - did that in January before I started all this commotion. I do get white coat blood pressure though sometimes. Will just have to chill properly before I go!
