Good idea.

As an alternative, they could've attached the nuclear plant to some balloons filled with hydrogen and literally 'floated' the whole thing up in the air. Not permanently . . . just in the case of an emergency.

I like it, these Jap nuclear engineers need all the help they can get. Maybe we should contact them?

'Super' absorbent tampons would work just as well.

Almost on a scale as my suggestion to dig out and flood the middle of Australia to reduce global see levels and increase beach front property availablity.

Poopoo . . . you only need to get up a tall ladder to increase your global see level.

The only problem is the unpredictability of the tsunami. Detonating nuclear devices below the sea floor, would solve the problem and make your solution the preferred one.

All joking aside - fingers crossed that the Japanese can keep the current situation under control.

I remember making the idea up, or at least I thought I had, and posting the idea on here as a bizarre piss take... and somebody pointed it out to me that people were serious about it. !!

You should be securing your intellectual property... before dirigible nuclear plants start to "take off".
