Interestingly, in many asian and arab countries, people stay married with the same partner for life. Divorces are extremely uncommon even if people are unhappy in their marriages. It seems like a different mindset from the UK.

Nearly 3000 people have viewed this thread, so I would just like to say, "I love my wife" thanks for that, whatever your opinion.

Love being married so does MrsB. I am so proud, so excited by her and her talents, interests, the things she says and does. We knew it within weeks. She also reckons we make cute kids.
It helps that we fancy each other, love each other and just get on with it, ourselves, and our lives. There seems a lot of people going through the motions. Plenty of people in defacto relationships the same who may as well tie the knot - it is special.
Married life is not all crap. Couldn't imagine life without her. Sex gets better and better - not boring at all.

And if you have kids? Well get divorced and go through the family law courts and find out. There are many fathers out there that don't get to see their kids and can't even afford to survive because of this reason alone.
While I've got your attention, I take it you were born out of wedlock, or from a broken home? I don't want to come across as insulting but you do seem anti women/marrige,

I'm thinking Dean just likes the attention he is getting from provoking posters in this thread. Surely is nonsense for example to state that people who say they are happily married are lying or deluded, how on earth would he know. Suggest that conclusion is that marriage is pointless to some yet wonderful to others (eg. me
) and good luck to all whichever path they choose!

It seems that the divorce mindset is common in the western nations, predominantly US, UK and Australia/NZ.
