I just joined last week. I've got 2 sessions with the PT plus one group class per week and unlimited time on my own. I'd love you to send me some workouts. It's something my husband and I can do together at home between my gym sessions. Better idea.....Bring them over next time you're in Perth.

I still havent hoovered, I have washed up, cleaned out the galah, now back on the sofa with the dog who is not allowed on the sofa but gives nice hugs so he is on there and I am having a coffee now.

Feel so knackered, the gym can wait till tomorrow.

My action-free day turned into a 12km hike around the rainforest.

Very nice too, I can recommend Binna Burra and the surrounds.

I so wanted to go to the gym and punish myself a bit but it really will have to wait till tomorrow, I am enjoying the peace and quiet though - no TV on or anything, actually quite nice.

I would have walked my dog on the beach but he is lame and I didnt fancy going on my own.

Gyms are overrated, never been in one, never want to be in one. Give me a few hours of hiking up and down the side of the mountain any day. You don't get waterfalls, cave systems used by indigenous people and views across to the coast in yer average branch of Fitness First

Enjoy the peace ... rest is what they prescribed for the sick and unfit in the days before we 'went for burn' and shelled out on lycra tellitubby suits ...

Confusing - been working days (12hrs) and spent more than half trying to fix one fault. I could go into details but it doesn't matter now. Home and watching qualifying from Silverstone on the Sky+

Been awake half the night in pain- a new one, but again on the right side. Started with a gnawing ache in my right shin and then spread to my right femur at the top. If I touch the skin it feels like it is burning- the touch that is, not the skin which is totally normal. So, more neuropathic pain? Woke me up from sleep around 4am and I'm sitting with two hot water bottles as I can't take painkillers due to my cataract op being tomorrow.

Full of cough and cold that has literally laid me flat. First time in 3 years.....kids have it too and I'm the one that gets up in the night so I slept in til 11 as I was up 4 times in the night. Still need to go back to bed now. Waiting for drugs from the husband who dragged out the youngest who is half better. Feel very sorry for myself.......Kept getting woken up by a rattling sound on every out breath...then realised it was me. YUCK.

That bug is going around, my husband has been coughing for 5 weeks now, two courses of antibiotics, much better but still has a morning/night time wheeze and cough - he is off to the GP this week again.

A little bit good and a little bit not so good. Got up at 6 to go to the loo and when I stood up I saw a small trickle of blood running down the front of my leg and an area of my healing suture line that's opened. I stopped the bleeding but now there's about a 1/2 cm area of what looks like a bubble. Now I'm going to have to go back to the surgeon again tomorrow. I just got the flipping bandages off on Thursday!

The old man and I are taking our daughter to see Ted this afternoon so looking forward to that. I also felt like playing Masterchef this morning so made the filling for beef & guinness pies and it's in the slow cooker. I won't bother with the crust until we get home from the movies. I also made 2 dozen melting moments and they're just cooling now. I'm going to make lemon filling for them seeing how I've got 2 shopping bags full of lemons and one of limes. Tonight I'm making lime pound cake to take to work tomorrow.
