Well it gets worse, daughter went up to her room today to get changed (we gave them Dani's room as it has an en-suite) she shouted down a few moments later saying her bathroom door was burst
we ran up to see expecting a dent or something but no a bloody hole the size of a fist
I have a washing bin behind the door & the door has been rammed so hard against the washbin its burst a hole in the door.
We're both seething, they were all out at the time Dani found it,a few hours later they appeared & Malcolm explained to them what we had found & asked if they knew how it happened?they said they had no idea & thought the door was always like that
they could see we were mega pissed off & have said they will try & repair it.
Cant believe they would of just kept quiet about it!
Ive cleaned the suite up,used some wash liquid & gave it a good wiping but its left dull patches,I'll try your dove soap idea Soapy & I'll get some Saddle Soap tomorrow(didnt think you could still buy that,i remember my mum using it years & years ago!),that should bring the colour up i think.
We've told them not to allow their kids on the sofa when they've just put cream on them but with a 11/2yr old & 4yr old they've got a job on their hands! I put a dark throw over the sofa,so if the kids do go on it,it will show up
Thanks for all your comments & support.

Along those lines did you know there are 10 types of people in this world?? Those who believe in a binary system, and those who don't

My God, reading some of these posts makes me realise that most of the friends and family that we have ever had to stay are almost normal (with the obvious exception of MoneyPen)
Cresta - I had to laugh at your prawn shells. We had some prawns just before Christmas and MrsD was about to put the shells in the bin when her sister stopped her. SIL wanted MrsD to put them in the freezer (err - I don't think so, the freezer was full of food) or failing that suggested MrsD went up the yard and buried them. Why? So they would not smell. They were triple bagged and the binmen were coming in the next day or two, so they were hardly going to cause a problem. Fortunately, I knew nothing of all this, so when I saw a bag of prawn shells in the middle of the kitchen floor I just picked them up and took them out to the bin.
Also, we have one of those great fly catcher things that was doing sterling work attracting the flies away from where we eat and trapping them into the smelly bucket thing. Well, it was working fine till BIL decided it was smelly and moved it right away from the house, so all the flies were then attracted to us and the food instead.
Ah well, we survived and they have all gone. Now got to get ready for my barking mad parents who come out in April.
Cheers,
DagBoy

You will hae to hope the storms stop or they may not fly then you will be stuck with them... :scared: .
I need to keep him and not let him escape as he needs to cook for all our visitors while I entertain on the patio...
.
With my cooking skills nobody would be daft enough to ask me to cook for 10 unless they all want pancakes.
This thing about binary no.s shows the alc bit has gone to far will have to dry him out for a few days asap or he will be talking code...
