Don't give a toss,to be honest,my concern was for their kids,if i could have kept them with me i would have,shocking way to behave with 2 kiddies.(4 & 18+mths)
I feel we must take some blame here too,we should not have welcomed strangers into our home & been so bloody trusting,when we seen things were begining to deteriorate we should of spoke up there & then.

another time she asked us to take her car in for a part whilst she was a work, again no money the part cost bloody $300 and despite asking several times for the money she never gave it us.

Guess who's sitting there when we get inside??........yes,they were,hubby's mate couldn't string two words together,what a state,she had had quite a few too,Malcolm asked them what the hell they were playing at,by this time it was going on 3pm,they had nowt packed,nothing cleaned,how did they plan to get my house in order & get to an airport within an hour?
Their excuse was they were waiting on a taxi-what for 3 fecckin hours?!!
Hubby told them their stuff was packed & waiting on the front patio in other words get your stuff & GTF!!
Their taxi came & we followed them back to ours,once there,hubby & i got everything off our chests,we felt we needed to & both feel a dam sight better for telling them exactly how we felt & how they treated us & our home,he never argued back & agreed they had behaved appallingly when they did get home hubby's mate has since phoned me to apologise but the damage has been done,friendship ruined,lesson learned.
Friends dont treat friends like that.

What a bunch of softies we are eh!
Hubby's mate drove our jeep around for two weeks,said to us one day there is smoke beltin from the bonnet,so he & hubby had a tinker about,knew it was something to do with the radiator,a leak maybe? hubby put it in the garage asked them to hire a car for the rest of their stay,minute we turned our back to go out(came back 20mins later cause we forgot something!)Jeep was gone they took it out again
found them at the supermarket not even 5min walk from our house,lazy fecckers!..hubby told them to get it up the road & get it in our garage & NOT to touch it again.Hubby got it to the garage,plastic covering over the radiator needed replacing-fair enough wear & tear but the asspiece never even offered anything towards the $445 repair bill.
We've had that jeep a year,hubby has a company car so we dont use the jeep unless we go to the beach at the weekend,its ran like a dream since the day we bought it.
We never asked for a penny from them,gave them a room,ensuite,fridge,full use of everything,hubbys jeep,nav man to get about,mobile to contact us. house key-(which they lost!!)
Hubbys mate cooked twice for us,(they bought the food)a barbi & chow mein meal(must say this was nice!)cleaned up afterwards too!!I had to cook for our kids & theirs before hand though!
When it comes down to it,im quite a quiet person so when i dont speak up hubby does,vice versa,this time neither of us could & its the first time this has hapened to us in 11years
(neither being able to speak up for the other?) Horrible situation to be in!I suppose it all came out in the end,dont have any regrets other than dreading how their kids are raised in everyday life-how do i change that?-i cant

I darent tell you how much money we spent out there, cos it was obscene!!
ah well you just have to put it down to experience its nearly 3 years ago since we were there, only had 1 xmas card off em and I think sod ya.
They know we've got our visas cos other family members have told em but not one word of congratulations or owt, I seriously hope they arent ever thinking of a holiday in Tas
