The majority fear the influx of cheap foreign labour, because like it or not, cheap wins.
Because it's worse than tribes; it's nations. And since the Peace of Westphalia that's been the predominate segmentation of the world.
That doesn't disappear just because some ideologues say it should.

Maybe fellow Europeans actually provide superior workmanship and less bull**** than we've gotten accustomed to with our cowboy plumbers.
Tribes, nations, who cares?
I think we have more in common with similar folk (honest, hard-working, family people) from neighbouring countries than we do with dissimilar people who share the same passport as us.
Plus any qualms you might have are just temporary, as once their kids go through the English school system they become locals. Same story as in Australia...

No Brexit until at least 2019 then
Quite right too
UK needs to take this slowly and get it right

Starting to wonder if it's actually likely to happen at all.

First "hard" data point due tonight in the form of inflation data. Have Bank of England went far enough with their round of rates cutting and QE to purge the economy of deflation?

It's generally accepted that the much greater QE the BofE has put in place over recent times hasn't been effective. It's not really a question of have they eased enough but one of will it be effective. Only time will tell.

The right move would be to reconsider the initial decision in the first place.

I love how our gov't is looking at Switzerland or Norway as "examples" of how to proceed, even though each of these scenarios is worse than remaining a fully-fledged member of the Union.

I don't think there's a way to make a wrong move in a right manner. It's like deciding to jump off the roof of a 2-storey building and hoping to break both legs and possibly an arm as opposed to ending up in a wheelchair or coffin.
The right move would be to reconsider the initial decision in the first place.

I think that the UK should have stayed in the EU and has made a mistake but the people have spoken and in a real democracy, that's vital
Brexit means Brexit (why have a vote if it is going to be ignored?) and the best that the UK can do is to exit and work out a solution to go forward
It's going to be tough but they'll sort it out - they've faced worse problems in the past and have overcome them that's for sure
