Re: Comfortably numb......
I'm an antisocial creature so working nights on my own suits me (and the rest of the staff!). My natural body clock has always been more alert at night than during the day anyway - if left to my own devices I am naturally awake till 3am or later, and have always struggled to get up early. My blood pressure is fine except when stressed by being in the office during the day, and as for the seven years -I'm sure someone higher than me worked out my timeline years ago, when my times up its up, people will only notice cos I won't turn up for my shift and I won't be posting on here any longer At least I'll go knowing I did a job I love instead of battling for years doing something I hate.

Re: Comfortably numb......
A holiday with no booze wash your mouth out
Drink for tomorrow you die
Heard a report on radio here that the Oz Catholic Church has banned non-religious music at funerals
Apparently funerals are meant to be a mourning for death not a celebration of their life WTF
A further nail in my very lapsed catholic upbringing, If I want Sympathy for the Devil and Highway to Hell at my funeral I'll damn well have them, and every one best get pished at the wake too Maybe should be a seperate thread ?

Re: Comfortably numb......
Would be a good one for a thread, I was reading the article last night, and think its crazy. Should be down to the deceased and their friends/family to deciude on music. Same with weddings. I remember my Dad (C of E vicar) back in the 70s taking the first wedding at which he had been asked for what he called "that pop rubbish" (It was Whiter Shade of Pale) - even though he hated the idea he said it was up to the couple to choose the music, wasn't the vicar's job.
