Unfornuate news that has occurred.
But I question future migrants.
This country is expensive, boring, dangerous and yet many of you thinks it will solve your problems and have dreams of moving out whilst many Aussies especielly younger are desperate to move out.
This country is a dump and I'm Aussie!

Now, please keep the tone of your posts civil and keep the personal insults out of it.

Don't judge people and their issues by your own, especially when you from a wealthy western country. It could make you look foolish.

Many people, especially the young, think their country is a dump.
Often it takes migrants to make that country not a dump and appreciate it more.
As for the Indian slant - the media is the media. It is a numbers game. Right now, this is newsworthy. Infact, right now, noone can ever be sure apart from the cops who have the stats, and even then we don't know what is not reported/reported by them or victims of crime. (Obviously deaths are!) How many other stabbings don't make the papers..Some people seem to think that Australian newspapers never print bad stories...(!)
It's a tragedy. I personally know many Indians who are not living in fear and hold down good jobs.

So you're not counting the Indian lady who was recently murdered by her Indian husband?
Any particular reason why you omitted this incident?
LOL
THE fugitive husband of a woman found dead with her throat cut in her western Sydney home has been arrested by Victoria police at a Melbourne bus station.
Police had launched a massive manhunt for 23-year-old Chamanjot Singh, who was last seen leaving the couple's Westmead home on Tuesday night. They discovered the body of his 29-year-old Indian-born wife as they checked reports of a domestic dispute at the Houison Street home late on Tuesday.
Moments before Manpreet Kaur was allegedly murdered, a neighbour, Jatinder Singh, heard her crying out. Within seconds her cries took on a greater intensity, and the plea was now directed at him, he said.
''She was calling … 'save me, save me' to me in Punjabi,'' Mr Singh, 27, said.
Minutes later 29-year-old Mrs Kaur was dying, lying in a pool of her own blood. Drawn by her calls, Mr Singh and his wife had run to his neighbour's door just before midnight on Tuesday, but they found it locked.
