Hi Furkew,

thanks for the attachements you have posted.

Do you know if the house prices listed are 2007 or are they from a year or so ago?

Cheers,

I think it was from 2006, but prices have been rising quite sharply over the last couple of years, so I suggest looking at real estate sites as well for better info.

Here is the Melbourne property review spring 2007 as well :

and Autumn 2007

Location has it.... Here is why Coburg pushed through the Aud 500,000 Median bracket this week. Plus the council announced plans to spend 1,000 mill, 1 billion dollars by 2020 on local infrastructure.

The 2bed place on less than 390 meters of land up the road from me @ 25 Champ st, went for 495,000 on Saturday, over 60 people at the Auction with 5 serious bidders. Which indicates there may not be a slow down for a while, just have to wait and see I guess.

Hi,

Have you got any further with schools? We leave on 24th November, so not long now.........still stuck between the convenience of Sanctuary / Point Cook and the Hills of Eltham. Packers arrive next week, so in final panic mode

we emigrate to Mornington middle of December.. great place to live. Lots to do, and nice beaches. Good schools around. A number of nice private schools as well.

Hi!
We to love the sound of mornington, but depending on husbands job, think it will be too far out. he is in graphic pre press and most companies seem to be mainly st.kilda/cbd/area (Typical they are in the most expensive places!!) we cant afford there so need to be able to commute easily. love the sound of pattison lakes too but very pricey. thinking about ferntree gully? we have a 3 year old so will need long term day care (which also sounds very hard to get) and as we dont know where we will be living, we cant put his name down

Easy to get to st kilda from mornington.. takes appprox 35mins by car or if you wish a train from Frankston (55mins) to Melbourne Central.
