Do you boys ever raise the level beyond the playground?

I'm on the escalators as we speak...coming up from the underground, on my way to the playground... if I can rise above that though is debateable.

Children, it's nearly christmas, feel free to disagree but perhaps we could leave the name calling out of it please? The thread has managed to stay polite up till now, if you can't make an argument without resorting to insults, maybe you're not big enough to use a computer.

Thats been going on for years mate.I moved to Oz as a child in 1970 and boy did we cop some shit back then,but you know what?We would often get the convict story and I would reply that we came here voluntarily whilst their ancestors probably did'nt!

If you can manage to be polite for just a few moments, could you enlighten me as to why you post on a mainly British expat site if you have so much antagonism towards the nationality?

So why post on a board for British Expats?. What do you get out of it... apart from the obviously deliberate attempts to wind people up.

Surely it is the British who have so much antagonism towards Australians else why the topic "Escape from Oz"? Why would Brits try to teach Australians and endlessly reminisce on about how they once used to be significant?

Fortunately perhaps, other nationalities don't have and perhaps don't need web sites such as this and perhaps I am spared their wailing and teeth gnashing.
