You are a recent blow in then. Regularly get Brits who say it's just not proper digging out minerals and selling them, why can't those Awstralyans have an economy like wot we had when we was back 'ome.

This thread is titled "Escape from Oz" (Brit for Aus). It is not specifically about you but some pipsqueak Brit who got upset because Australians would not change their way of life to match his/her/its perception of what is should be and probably told him/her/it to stick it. That is not a chip, it is advice.
You won't find me being critical of Oz, or the way it's run. It's the 'all brits are this' and all aussies are that' that gets on my tits, both countrys have their fair share of arses could that not suffice?

To everyone, could you please remember my post 123 requesting you don't become personal with comments. You are all doing quite well up to now but in my opinion (as a Mod who can't be bothered with silly people today) as you as you become personal and rude, you automatically lose your argument.

To be absolutely honest, I'd have probably reacted the same way if I was still in the UK and a migrant had bagged it. However, your beef is with the OP, not the entire country, so surely you can understand people being defensive, as you have been.

It does have an 'as you type spell check', the misspelled word becomes underlined in red. Also whilst it's British Expats it's created and run from the US which is where Sue and Paul migrated to from the UK and started up the site.
