yep dirty sky here in hervey bay now. Bit orange, bit brown and hazy.

So we'll get the mess and not the fantastic sky scenes as it'll be past dusk that it really gets us!

Haven't seen anything like it before. Have lived in Sydney for 43 years.

Yea, interesting drive to work this morning. Alarm went off at 5am, went to the curtains, first glint of daylight just appearing - and overnight my house had apparently been relocated to Mars. The drive to work as the sun rose over the amazing beaches of south coast NSW was something else. Visibility was fine - if anything I got to the office quicker than usual.
