Brisbane Expats Meet
Well, Xmas is over, holidays are finished & children are back at school, so once again its time to consider a Brisbane Expats Meet!! The last one was a rip roaring success, hopefully this one will be as good. Last time we had a BBQ lunch at Wynnum, we could try it there again, go somewhere else or even do something completely different ie a cruise, a trip somewhere for the day etc. The floor is open for suggestions. Similarly the date is open slather, my only suggestion is to make it at least a month in advance so that people have plenty of notice (not everyone logs onto expats every day or even every week ).
So lets hear everyones suggestions

Fabulous idea Mrs D; will be up for it and will try and prise the Bloke away from Foxtel for the day. My own personal plea - not the weekend of the Melbourne Grand Prix (March 7th) cos we'll be on our delayed honeymoon.......other than that, I'll go along with the majority!
Cruise sounds nice but might mean some formal organising??

we were hoping to be validating in march, that is looking more and more unlikely.
if by chance my visa comes within the next few weeks we will be up for it and would be happy to go with the flow.

May I suggest if WBB and Ceri are both attending, it may be safer to stick to plastic cutlery and paper plates, we dont want any accidents now do we?
