Loved today's family-they were so enthusiastic whilst being realistic at the same time. She's obviously worked really hard to ensure her sons get the best possible future. I hope it all goes really well for them

firstly like to say hi to all...newbie here

just watched todays programme...and thats all im going to say is....what a great family, and i wish her and her sons all the best, its great to see today where the whole family are all up for it,even thou she a single parent.
and when they showed the film of her family and friends not one of them told them no to go

it would be nice if she was/is a member of this site..to tell us all how things are going with her move.

as coming from the same town as her....i totally agree its going to be a better life for her boys and her..leaving here.

all the best

I agree with you, and wish her all the luck in the world.
What an inspiration she is, i thought i was scared doing this with my husband by my side and she is going it alone
I hope she meets a gorgous ozzy doc and finds the house of her dreams.x

Hi

I agree she was a lovely lady on todays show i wish her and the boys all the best with thier future downunder.

As for yesterdays i think that the job he has here would be still there in a few years time, i felt sorry for his wife whos dreams were crashed.

Just watched todays show, and like others thought the family was very positive and feel sure they`ll make a go of it in Oz.

Thought the mum did great to get where she is, and the boys were a credit to her.

All the best to them!!

I havent seen todays yet, but yesterdays got on my bloody nerves.

yes he had a good job and future prospects in the uk
yes emigrating isnt for everyone
yes everyone has a choice

but come on:curse:
i thought this programme was aimed at people who had a definite interest in emigrating, i know that people are allowed to change their minds, but he didnt want to do it in the first place, so what a total bloody waste of time.

I completely agree! Other people could have had the place who actually wanted to move. Because the wife isnt going to leave the husband just to move there

Nothing wrong with the couple in Cairns seemed a great couple to me and very well balanced and knew exactly what they wanted.
