Re: Is Australia officially in a Recession
What can I do David Cameron has slashed and burned here in the UK with cuts here, cuts there, cuts every frigging where, no pay rises, over a million good well paid public sector jobs lost and in there place private sector low paid crap jobs and the result is ....... Recession in the UK, so I have no idea how to prevent it happening in Australia, IF it will ever happen which is extremely doubtful.

It mainly depends on your trade/type of work you do to earn a living, we have not suffered at all here in the UK and so far as any of our families but this thread is about recession in Aus. I think a lot of new migrants or want to be new migrants might fall at the first hurdle if they think they are going to have job offers etc coming out of their ears...unless of course you have a skill which is in demand...which could be said for anywhere in the world.

It's just lovely to go to a match day......there is nothing (well for a football fan) like walking into the stadium to take your seats....the atmosphere...bliss..we were real saddo's in Perth lol....anything big (except Australian Rules) sports wise that we were lucky to have come to Perth (which is not often lol) we use to buy tickets for....we even use to go and watch Perth Glory when we first arrived, it reminded us of our local club side back in the UK.

It's tough in most places, the old saying Location Loacation Location is the best advice to migrants, choose your Location well for a better chance of a job and Perth is where we are heading, half the unemployment rate to where we are coming from.
