Not going to lecture you (anymore) about board etiquette but people generally volunteer as much or as little as they're comfortable with. I don't say much more than my area and some will say even less than that. It's no biggee it's just that your question may not always be answered directly.

I love it but I'm a Texas girl - I've lived all over the states but this is home and Texas gravity is strong and always pulls me back. I don't know how I'd feel if I moved here from another country to be honest. I've always felt that Texas either has to be in your blood or get into your blood - otherwise you're just passing time here.

Oh, I don't think there are any chat rooms as such on the forum, at least I haven't found one. You can start your own thread I guess, tho that doesn't sound like what you want really. Otherwise, you can send a member a private message and they can respond. Or, after you make friends I'm sure lots of folks have MSN messenger or such.

I'm familiar with the area but I've never camped there. One of my sisters lived in Pilot Point for a while.... I haven't been since but it was a nice area when she lived there.

I don't take it personally ..... everybody is different and has different experiences. I have one sister that despises Texas to this day because her college roommates stole from her.
