too long...No, we have been here for 3yrs..had the chance to go backto UK in the new year but, we are possibly moving to Kennesaw,Atlanta, my OH has the chance of promotion so he is going to give it a whirl. We shall see, l miss home, friends etc. Not made any real friends here as yet. Still very homesick even now.

Fern, lack of friends is a hard thing. Girl talk helps most days. I hope you find some, or "cyber-friends" help.

We've lived here for over 11 yrs now and I still miss England. I've just returned from a UK break...it was like a breath of fresh air.

I make the best yorkshire's ever my husbands friend came over for sunday dinner and l made him roast, yorkshires etc.. now, he keeps inviting himself every week. Big Mistake

You might think yours works...but I assure you it will taste nothing like my mum or my aunts used to make.

I need a break big time, my OH went home for 6wks in Jan this yr, l was so fedup was not able to travel as l was pregnant at the time..wont go into details...so, l think l am due for a visit home next yr.
