Oh here's something nice.... I just went outside because I could hear a load tractor & one of our neighbours is ploughing out our driveway.
Isn't that nice! We nearly died of shock as our neighbour in VA had a snow machine thingy and on Christmas day spent 2 hrs doing our driveway etc while we sat and munched on chocolates watching TV
The best neighbour we ever had!

0.4 seconds, thats twice as long as i'd want to live in Paris, expensive and full of dog shit (Paris, not you).

We hardly got any snow in VA in the few years I was there. One year we did get about 10" but it was gone in a few days. Other than that - nada.

Had tonnes of snow here since Christmas. The neighbours have been brilliant helping us. Now I wish it would stop so my daffs can come up.

December 2001 we had snow falling on Christmas eve and solidly for the next 3 days it was magical..never had a white Christmas before.

Though after 9/11 and been told 3 days before Christmas you have no job now in the US or UK it wasn't as happy as it could have been

When my (scottish) fiance was over in summer, people swore he didn't own a shirt. And this was in Michgain. His word for the year was HOT! HOT! HOT!

and then came the day in Illinois when the bank sign read 100 degrees.

Word for the day was H*LL! H*LL

Never trust a bank that can't afford A/C.
