OMG this really sucks!
First of all I hope Millie makes a full recovery.
Secondly, surely, in view of the cock-up you shouldn't have to pay the full bill?
tks for asking after little millie...hmm yeah i agree. the vet that did the cock-up has been on the dog 'n bone really concerned and she has always been professional and has a persian cat of her own and has bred them so that's why we've been with her for 4 yrs. i feel it truly was a mistake and i feel so sorry for her. the office manager is calling me today and i will ask if the surgery has any provisions to compensate in cases of error. the bill is mounting daily...into the 000's
such a shame for millie, she's only a small 7lb cat and has never had a thing wrong with her and a lovely nature....there is a pix of her on the website

I'm so sorry to hear about Millie is she tiny? Surely the vet should cover all your expenses including the initial surgery, even if he is not legally responsible surely he should be morally. I don't think vets here are anythying like as caring as the ones in the UK. Its so heartbreaking when our pets are sick, I know I've had my heartbroken many times over the the last 30 yrs.
I hope Millie makes a speedy recovery TruBrit, all the best.
How is Millie today, bet you can't wait to get her home.

tks for checking up on little millie....yep picking her up at 4pm today...she is not to jump and to keep still...ever tried telling a cat to do that..lol anyway the vet is really pleased with her. she has staples in her neck and side so will be pretty sore for quite a few days. the vet that did the initial tooth extraction has been on the phone again and i do feel sorry for her...she's an experienced vet and this was just an accident. the surgery are looking at their insurance to see if they can meet us half way at last on the bills...the tooth extraction was $600 (for two cats) incl meds so you can imagine what we've now paid out for all this.. i say this every time, no more animals...so heartbreaking when things go wrong...anyway tks so much for asking

I agree I always say the same, then we get another. Just dogs in my case though.
Not long now and Millie will be home. Good luck Millie.

A property slump in 2 or 3 years back there would be great timing for me personally

Castle a nice spot for a reception if you get the weather - good for the photos.
I planted a lot of the flower beds in the carpark but they've prob been long since ripped up
