Hannafords have Robinsons for $4.70 which around me is about $3 cheaper than the other grocery stores at the moment.

Wegmans had Heinz beans on sale for $1.70 also Salad Cream for $3.40 and Robinsons for $4.45

So the cheapest around for that stuff in our area at least.

Those would be as authentic as you can get, because they no longer make them in York, and import them to the UK from Poland!

For those in northern Maine...

Best Brit style bacon I've had in ages were found in Kiffins Specialty Meats, in Skowhegan.

Spot pricey, but they make their own.

Hey guys, I haven't been able to search this thread on my phone but can anyone tell me if they have come across tinned mackerel anywhere over here? I ate it all the time back home and I haven't found it anywhere so far. Any suggestions?

Do you have a Chinese grocery in your area? I frequently see it in there and in the Hispanic-oriented supermarket here in Texas. You're more likely to find it in shops catering to expats or lower-income people because for some reason it's not considered very desirable here.

How about Big Lots? That's a discount chain that's in California. I find the stock in these Christmas Tree or Big Lots type of places changes from month to month, so you have to keep going back to look.

Sometimes you find wonderful foody stuff in these kinds of places, so definitely buy more than one if you do see something you like. Because in two weeks they could all be gone & you may never see them again, or not till next year sometime.

WalMart here in California has started stocking caramel shortcake from Hamilton.

Any source of good black pudding?
