UK Foods in the US Share your finds!

Re: UK Foods in the US Share your finds!
Not so much of a find but a lose. We are big fans of Young's Fish - Cod and Haddock Fillets - but our local Walmart is no longer stocking these products. Can we expect to see Young's Fish available in Walmart again? We have just consumed our last box of Haddock Fillets. Have emailed Young's for help, but it is not looking good.

Boxes of Young's 2 x Cod Fillets have reappeared in Walmart. Ordinarily in my opinion boxed frozen food is best avoided as the contents invariably do not match the picture on the box, but in this case Young's fish is really quite tasty. Since we are nowhere near the Atlantic, it is the best fish we can hope for here. My thanks to the hardworking fisherpeople of Grimsby.

Came across this for the first time today in my supermarket scanning job. British Style Bangers made in California. Hmmm. $6 for 4 bangers = $1.50 per banger and made in CA so unlikely to be the real thing. If anyone wants to Go Fund Me to taste this, I will accept donations to sample this dubious sausage.

Also, Walmart have sticky toffee pudding cups for $2.77 a single serve pot. They're about $6 in Wholefoods, for the same one.

Costco have RJ Balson Bangers in stock at the moment so get them while you can
$7.95 for 2lb - they're $8.95 for 1lb online plus shipping so a significant discount and worth stocking up on.

I have no connection with them other than having eaten their pasties (and other stuff)
I believe others on BE have bought their stuff.

This thread could take on a whole new direction under the current circumstances. ..... This morning I found some bread, so bought three loaves. There was no milk and almost no meat to be had, and needless to say no toilet paper and wipes or hand sanitizer, but I did stock up with a case of beer, four cans of olives, and a bottle of Sriracha.

Just listening to a video from a Professor of microbiology at the University of Birmingham (UK)...... where he says that drinking tea will not protect you from CV-19 . Only in the UK!
Perhaps he should have tried Tetley - those tea folk would have helped him out!
Interesting video anyway - nothing new but his Scottish twinkle made my morning.

Found at Costco, I really liked it, it hit the spot I bought a bag of pita’s, lettuce, sliced a red onion, cucumber, garlic aioli and ranch... delish. It was $13 and has 2-1lbs pouches in it, it says 12 serving but it is more like 8-10 total.
