There is also the classic, 'supposedly', maybe people pronounce it wrong back in England too, but I never heard it said 'supposebly' before I came here! (Except on 'Friends') I hear it said wrong all the time over here, I resist the urge to laugh!!!

This is a good point ! .... Why does no body here understand if I use the word 'Triple' when using it in a numerical sense ie; '5740001' if I say triple zero they dont get it, if I say 'Twice' I am looked at as a moron ...... sorry, forgot ! .... I am one :( |
