Default Two Times!!!

What ever happened to the word twice? Why do Americans use "two times" instead of twice. I noticed it on an advert the other day now I cant stop listening for it, no-one says twice, why, why, why?

Blowing off any real responsibility caused by the f(ckup. I detest that phrase. It's a Gen Y thing -- how hard can it be to say "my mistake"?

Patrick -- where have you seen "two times"? In advertising I rather like the use of 200% vs twice or two times.

"One time.... two times.... three times a lady"

Patrick, I'd be more worried that "thrice" is an endangered species.

I "might could" understand it if they speak a different language ... oh, hang on, they do.

If it's "not my bad", does that mean it's "my good"?

Try telling them something happens "twice a month" then when they say "Huh?" say "You know...fortnightly"

This one annoys me. Loud people on cell phones starting the conversation with........"where you at?"

Is that just a Texas thing or is it all over?
