aye, it's been going up like crazy around here too.

The heating oil has shot up loads as well, they're saying an average small place is likely to be spending around $220 per year more compared to last year.

Then again, they're saying petrol should be going back down a little again in a short while.

Just glad we're not on oil for heat any more

Shell accepts your Kroger card so you can earn .10c off the shell price. I know it may not be cheaper but if you are stuck and need some quick gas, at least you can take some profits off the fat cats.

Do you get them to scan your Kroger card? $2.62 here.

It's a bit fidlly - you have to key in the number on your Kroger card on the pump keypad. I don't go inside the the shop so I don't know if they scan.

I still think it's worth the extra 10c off.

So the two cheap places are still $2.78/2.79 a piece and everywhere else seem to be flip flopping from $2.85 to $2.90 and back again every few days.

We've got a new HEB built in a crap location (dont know what they were thinking) but to try to get people in they are discounting to 2.45 versus 2.54-2.55 elsewhere. Still not worth the extra time and miles to go there......
