It's $3.02 up in Maine...what the hell is that about...

I did see it was $2.75 in Worcester, MA...but does mean having to go to Worcester.

Turkeyday bonus for the oil companies, I'd guess. Cheapest around here is 2.83 at the moment; filling up on the way back from Sacramento last night and it was something like 3.44...

Mrs tonrob and I are driving to Florida starting out this Thursday. Now while I've used Gasbuddy on and off to look at prices within a certain geographical area, I only just found out that they have a trip planner thingy. Low and behold I now have my route to Florida telling me exactly where I should pull off the highway to fill up with the cheapest petrol! (4 times, all of it in the 2.60-2.70 range!)

IF you stop along 95 in the vicinity of Savannah, the first Richmond Hill exit is cheaper than the preceeding exits that I know of.

We'll be staying overnight in Savannah and I do believe that Gasbuddy had prompted us to fill up there. Thanks for the recommendation!

Ft Lauderdale, FL $2.80 -$3.08 for regular. Odd Gas stations opposite each other, can be 20c difference.

Between here & Miami, I have never seen so many closed down Gas Stations, one close to us, spent thousands renovating, even put a fountain outside, within 6 months "Out of business".

Its an interesting business plan that can justify a fountain for a gas station!

So what are people blaming for all the shutdowns? Knock on from BP so they can get their claims in to Feinberg?
