Ha ha!

My Jetta TDI laughs at your Ford Focus.
Not to mention Steerpike's Prius and that shitty little Smart Car.

I get better mileage than all of you and it only costs me 70c a gallon.

I don't have a Prius. I have a nice 3.2 liter V6.

what are you using that costs 70c / gal? is this the bio-fuel deal - used chip-pan oil, etc?

No choice round here. It all has "up to 10% ethanol"

ETS: That reminds me - last time I checked, regular in the UK was the same octane as premium over here.

Unfortunately I haven't come across a gas station here in Pa that doesn't use ethanol. Hey gotta fight that mean global warming, at the expense of starving children

Do all TDIs, regardless of model year, run on cooking oil and such?? I never understood how biodiesel works.

It's a Pree-us, buddy

The new common rail diesels can only run a B5 (a 5% blend.)

My car has a Pumpe Duse engine, and that can run B99, which is effectively pure biodiesel.

Jeremy Clarkson is the only person I've ever heard call it a "Pry-us".

I find it hard not to call it a Prius.

It's not a tree-umvirate, right?

I'm with you, but it seems the majority goes with Pree-us. I guess it is whatever Toyota says it is, since it's their baby.

Or rather the marketeer's baby.

The pronunciation may well change with a different ad co

Anyway back to topic, it's $2.85 up here in York, $2.79 around there in Harrisburg where I was earlier today.
