That's useful. I usually cough my guts up in the morning until my 2nd coffee and 3rd cigarette have restored homeostasis.

At this point, however, time is of the essence. Friendships can turn thin quickly in some circumstances.

heheh.. "Fish & company.." etc etc

I'm having doggie fever. I dont' care if he says 'no'.
Yes I do. He'll make my life miserable.

They're very pretty dogs though.

fatbrit: that is a very sensible solution. The first one. 2nd one will take too long.

Perhaps you've been in Texas too long? :D

I read that as the voice of Justin Wilson, the late Cajun cook from television, if you know the man...

It's been real, it's been fun, but it hasn't been real fun.

5 am comes early.

Later taters. I have couch pillows to go fluff.

J/K!

The way I see it, he'll be on a flight home within less than 12 hours of losing access to that nice sofa. I guaran-damn-tee it!

Yes i want to be here on a sofa or back in the uk in the pub, if i could be on a flight now i would take it, she has helped me out and for that i am grateful but i dont want to be here i want to be home.

I came on this site to see if there were people who have been through the same, or if i could get some advice not abuse or people telling me i am bullshitting.

I dont know why this has happened but BA, the British Embassy and homeland security each tell me its not there problem, so i fall into a crack.

I have not and will not ask for money that was never my agenda, i wanted advice pure and simple.

So please dont have a go, you keep telling me i am making this up and i should make BA fly me home, but they said it was there policy that unless i was admitted into hospital they will not change my ticket.

The embassy said it was not there problem and to contact homeland security.

And homeland security told me to contact the local press in Grand Rapids (I am still trying to work that one out)

I am not and have not bullshitted you, I have not and will not asked for money.

So cut me some sodding slack.

Reminds me of the joke where an old drunk walks into a bar and begs for a drink from everyone. After getting on everyones nerves one bright spark offers to buy the bum a beer if he'll drink the spitoon.
To everyones suprise the drunk is so desperate that he takes up the offer and starts guzzling down the spitoon contents.
After a few seconds everyone has seen enough and asks him to stop, but he keeps drinking.
The patrons are now getting grossed out and demand he put the spitoon down, but he keeps on drinking.
Everyone is now completely disgusted and scream for him to stop and he has now earned his beer.
Eventually he stops and puts the spitoon down.
The bartender asks why he did not stop when first asked?
The old drunk gasps............................................. .......................................... " I couldn't, it was all in one piece!!"

Please stop with the sputum talk. I can barely say the word without gagging. I may be a nurse, but I never came to terms with sputum. *gag*

errr...already got a visa over stay as it is, so it wouldn't be much more hassle now would it, can't use the VWP anyway in the future.

Playing Idiot's advocate for a moment... doesn't removal (deportation) come with a 10-year bar? I don't think he's up to that much of a bar from the overstay yet.

I, too, find it hard to believe that after all this time living in the USA, there's suddenly no money for a return ticket. The best choice seems to be showing up at the airport with luggage and making a case to the airline in person.
