I can't understand why BA are giving you a hard time if you paid full fare. Also it seems a little strange that you paid full fare but you're now broke. :unsure:

Turn up at the airport, threaten to slap someone about a bit...you'll be dumped on the plane, BA can't refuse because it's the law that the carrier that took you in has to take you out if you get deported.

That was 3 months ago, i was meant to fly out 2 weeks ago i have had to live from then.

I was not expecting to be here longer than i had planned so the little money i had has gone on such luxuries as food.

Its the getting deported bit that i dont much like, as i would like to come back one day.

I was hoping that when my visa run out someone would help me get home but even the department of homeland security wont help, the only way that would work is by breaking the law.

I really dont want to go down that route as i am sure the place i pick to rob will be run by a nutter with a gun.

Thanks to those who have sincerely replied.

Fingers crossed we can figure something out short of breaking a petty law and having him deported.

Indecent exposure might work better than a hold up. A shag on a parkbench downtown perhaps.

Such a shame the park benches are covered in snow....

You mentioned contacting the press, have you thought about calling the UK press i.e the tabloids? I.e you give them the story of how crappy BA are (as well as how apparently lax US security is) and they in return give you a ticket home whilst making themselves look wonderful for bringing a brit back to the motherland for xmas (I can imagine the daily mail and Sun loving this story).

If not national you could always try something like the Yorkshire post or one of the Bradford papers (?)

What treatment was given? What was the nature of the fall?
