I believe it very well could be the truth.
I have a friend who came to the US for a visit and forgot to leave. Was deported three years later and was sleeping on a friend's couch for accommodation. Ten year ban. Loads more unbelievable stuff happened, then he met yet another American girl on the Net. Since he was banned from the US, he suggested they meet up in Canada -- Ontario to be precise, nearish Toronto where she could afford the hotel fare. Things were okay until they had a shouting match in the hotel room. The police arrived, because the hotel had called them after getting a call from the girl (just turned 18)'s father. My friend was in his early 30s at the time and neither the father nor the Ontario police thought that this was an appropriate relationship. At first the police were convinced my friend had kidnapped the girl, but she told them quite firmly that she had arrived of her own free will. The hotel evicted them, and the police told my friend not to let the Canadian sun set on him. NOTHING surprises me anymore. :lol: |

I do know that BA is infamous (as are a few other carriers)in having pretty pricey tickets that are TOTALLY non refundable, no changeable etc. If they let you change it once, there shouldn't be a limit on the number of changes, but then again, I'm not looking at the ticket.

English Idiot... It seems that whatever advice you are given, you are no prepared to listen to. I told you on post # 21 what to do.
At any ,major international airport there is an Immigration Inspector who can be contacted through any airline.They are not just,as suggested, just on the way into the airport,they are accessable through both airlines and the local Airport Police. After all the comments, it seems that you do not want to take that advice and really want to get deported for overstaying without giving yourself a chance to explain yourself to the very authorities who can help your situation. This has to be done in PERSON, no phone calls, no e-mails .. in PERSON, and as I said previously be prepared to travel. at a moments notice. Sitting in someone lounge or a library will not get you out of what is fat becoming a very serious situation. I would add that if you were stopped out on the street by ICE/local Police etc you could end up in detention and then deported just as any illegal immigrant would be,because at present, thats what you are. |
