I saw that but I don't have the old paper licence,I'm not in the UK and I'm not sending them my passport. Is it straight forward for a relative to do it for you?

Congrats on passing. I suppose I should get off my arse and pass the test myself, but then I'd have to chauffeur the Wife around instead of her chauffeuring me. Sounds like hard work...

The ID is worth it alone! I've been driving around since I got here, it didn't bother me either way, but I'm sure having a US license will make life easier for me in the long run!

Will you be going back to the UK for a holiday anytime soon? Maybe you could do it then.
