I think this is a great development for the MLS.
I recon there will be some long term good which comes from the capture of footballs biggest icon (even although he's not a great player anymore).

As someone has already said he will prolly be the best player they have but you are right it will be great for MLS. I am excited. Beckham is the only player many americans I have spoken to have heard of. I think it will cause quite a buzz. Now can somebody please tell me if we have a team in Michigan or do I have to support the Columbus Crew?

I did. I did I swear but I got more confused. Michigan Bucks are minor league (am I right?) and Chicago is in Illinois. I am from Mancherster so I aint gonna support liverpool. That said I aint gonna support man city either. They already have a supporter haw haw haw - thanks for the link
